More transparency on airport needed

Although I didn't actually go to the Pitkin Board of County Commissioners meeting about the airport, I watched it and what I saw was person after person not really being heard by the BOCC. I saw Chuck Butler, or Citizens Against Bigger Planes, stand up to them.

Commissioners focused on putting their own question on the ballot and they, unlike CABP, did not have to gather signatures and get them certified. They could just "direct staff."

And the actual wording of the question does not need to be on the ballot. What? Your constituents you are elected to represent are getting stomped on here and I don't know why that is, but it is increasingly unclear as to whom you represent and why.
